180 Miss Harney asked the Minister for the Environment whether he has received an application for funding from Rural Resettlement Kerry; when he proposes to make a decision on this application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3853/96]

Representations seeking funding have been received from Rural Resettlement Kerry. My Department has made grants to Rural Resettlement Ireland since 1992. However, there are no funds available to assist separate rural resettlement groups operating is specific areas.
