Written Answers. - Capital Budget Allocation.
(Limerick East): It is not the normal practice to make capital budget allocations to health boards, other than in respect of urgent maintenance and fire prevention works. The capital commitments arising each year generally arise from decisions on individual projects, many of which involve expenditure over a number of years.
The health capital programme for 1996 has not yet been finalised, so I am not in a position at this stage to give a list of the projects that will be included in it.
