121 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the standard procedures operated when his office or the office of the Minister(s) of State at his Department receives an anonymous letter; and if he has satisfied himself with the procedures that currently operate. [4094/96]
The standard procedures operated when my office or the Minister of State's office receives an anonymous letter is that if it contains information which may require to be followed up it is sent to the relevant senior official where a decision is taken on whether it merits any further action. I am satisfied with this procedure.
