Vol. 462 No. 5

Written Answers. - County Limerick School Improvements.

Willie O'Dea

Ceist:

171 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for Education whether she has received an application for a grant towards remedial works, heating, dampness, doors and windows for Kilteely national school, County Limerick; whether she has received an application for a store room and toilets for this school; and if so, when a decision will be made on this matter. [4849/96]

An application for grant-aid towards the remedial improvement works outlined by the Deputy has been received from Kilteely national school, County Limerick. A grant of £1,275 was sanctioned on 7 February 1996, towards the cost of carrying out repair works to a prefab. Reports on the remaining works are expected shortly from both the engineering and planning sections and when these reports have been received and considered my Department will be in touch with the school authorities.
