176 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Education the progress, if any, that has been made regarding the provision of additional permanent accommodation at a school (details supplied) in County Cavan; if an architect has been appointed for this project; the current stage of planning; when construction work will commence; if she will ensure that this project proceeds as quickly as possible in view of the urgent need to provide this much needed accommodation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The schedule of accommodation and the appointment of an architect have been agreed for the proposed building project at the school to which the Deputy refers. The project is in the early stages of planning and it is not possible to state when construction will commence. My Department will make every effort to ensure this project progresses through its various stages as quickly as possible.
