I would refer the Deputy to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 189 and 190 of 5 March 1996 which relate to the matter.
There are 40 cars in the State fleet at present comprising the following makes-Mercedes, 27; Ford, 2; Opel, 5; Volvo, 4; BMW, 1 and Renault, 1. It would be contrary to established practice to provide more specific information on the fleet on the grounds of security.
