Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Lawlor — the need to address the question of the availability of post-primary school places in the Lucan area of County Dublin; (2) Deputy Lynch — the need to standardise hourly wage rates for home helps in all health board areas; (3) Deputy Michael Kitt — the provision of services for mentally handicapped children and adults in the Ballinasloe area of County Galway; (4) Deputy Séan Ryan — the number of abscondments from Oberstown House, Lusk, County Dublin over the past year and the proposals, if any, there are for improving security for the centre in view of the concerns of the local residents; (5) Deputy Dermot Ahern — the incursion by British Army personnel into north County Louth on 4 March 1996; (6) Deputy Hugh Byrne — the need for an ambulance with night flying equipment on the east coast; (7) Deputy Hogan — the need to ensure that drugs seized by the Garda and customs officers are stored or destroyed securely; (8) Deputy Geoghegan-Quinn — the need for immediate publication of the findings of the investigation into the case of Ms Kelly Fitzgerald; (9) Deputy O'Donnell — the question of the publication of the report on the death of Ms Kelly Fitzgerald; (10) Deputy Eric Byrne — the need for the necessary resources to be made available to obviate the need for water throttling and the necessity for an adequate and reliable water supply for all areas of Dublin. The matters raised by Deputies (1) Lynch, Geoghegan-Quinn, O'Donnell and Hogan have been selected for discussion.
