70 Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Health the amount of funding made available to an organisation (details supplied) in County Galway; the reason this amount is not greater than in previous years; if he will reconsider this situation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5353/96]
Responsibility for the funding of the organisation in question is, in the first instance, a matter for the Western Health Board. The allocation in respect of 1996, as notified to the organisation, does not include certain funding adjustments which are currently being finalised. The Western Health Board is in contact with my Department regarding this matter, and it is anticipated that the necessary adjustments to the allocation will be made in due course.
