122 Mrs. Geoghegan-Quinn asked the Minister for Health the number of people currently on the public in-patient waiting list; the number of people waiting for public hospital beds at the end on each month in 1995 and to date in 1996; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6266/96]

Limerick East): My Department is currently finalising the returns for the 1995 waiting list initiative.

I expect to have the final position within the next few weeks and I will provide the Deputy with the available information at that stage.
