Written Answers. - County Leitrim Housing Works.
I assume that the question relates to houses at Benbo Heights in Manorhamilton. An application under the remedial works scheme in respect of these houses was recently received from Leitrim County Council. A decision on its eligibility under the scheme will be notified to the council as soon as possible.

Ceist:212 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for the Environment if he will have arrangements made to have funds provided to Leitrim County Council to carry out remedial works to houses at Lahard, Ballinamore, County Leitrim. [6575/96]
The remedial works scheme applies to the refurbishment of groups of rented local authority houses. Only one of the houses to which this application relates is now rented by the county council and, accordingly, the houses do not qualify for funding under the scheme.
