Ceist:259 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction the commencement of work on an extension to Clonakilty national school, County Cork; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6392/96]
Written Answers. - Clonakilty (Cork) National School.
An extension of Clonakilty national school was included in my Department's 1995 capital programme. The project is at the preliminary stages of architectural planning and consequently is not ready to proceed to construction yet. When the project is ready for construction, a decision on the timing of the tender process will be made in light of the financial resources available. My Department will liaise with the school authorities at all stages of the project.
