Ceist:369 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid her REP scheme grant; and her outstanding 1995 cattle headage grants. [6209/96]

An application form for a second payment under REPS has issued to the person concerned.
Under revised control and monitoring measures implemented by my Department, all participants must now certify that they have farmed in accordance with their plans and that they kept specified records. In addition their REPS planners must now certify that the plans submitted on behalf of their clients comply with the scheme and that the participants kept appropriate records. On receipt of the relevant application form and appropriate certification the payment will issue without delay.
Payment in respect of the 1995 cattle headage scheme issued on 17 November 1995 to the person concerned. A first instalment in respect of the 1995 suckler cow scheme issued on 1 November 1995 with the second instalment issuing on 22 January 1996.
