Ahern asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs the number of persons employed in the constituency office and the private office by him and the Minister(s) of State at his Department; the rank of each person; their salaries; the functions of the constituency office and the private office; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Details regarding the numbers, ranks, salaries and the functions of the staff employed in my constituency and private offices and those of the Ministers of State at the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the Tánaiste have been given in reply to Questions Nos. 59 of 19 October 1995, 58 of 24 January 1995, 174 of 12 October 1994, 118 of 11 October 1994, 113 of 4 May 1993, 124 of 11 March 1993, 60 and 66 of 9 March 1993, 52 of 16 February 1993 and 82 of 10 February 1993. There is no new information to add on this subject.
