106 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for Health when the promised inspectorate of social services will be established; and if administrative arrangements will be made to give effect to its immediate establishment, prior to publishing legislation. [6123/96]

The establishment of an inspectorate of social services is among my priorities for this year and it will be set up as soon as is feasible.
