221 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Justice if she will consider making a freephone service available to the general public who require to make contact with her Department; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6971/96]
I am informed that the technical and economic aspects of freephone access to Civil Service Departments on a country-wide basis are being studied by an interdepartmental group led by the Department of Finance, which is due to make recommendations to Government shortly. I will consider my Department's position in the light of the recommendations.
