, Limerick East): The report of the Advisory Group on Personal Assistance Services for People with Physical Disabilities was circulated at the end of last year as a discussion document to a number of interested organisations. The report included estimates of the cost of implementing its recommendations on the development of a personal assistance service. Copies of the report are available on request from my Department.
Comments have been received from a number of organisations. These, as well as the report are being examined by the Review Group on Services for People with Physical and Sensory Disabilities in the context of the development of services generally for people with physical disabilities. The review group's report is expected to be published shortly.
