Written Answers. - Organic Research Funding.
Funding has not been allocated by my Department towards organic research for the years 1994, 1995 and 1996.
Responsibility for research in agriculture and horticulture rests with Teagasc under section 4 of the Agriculture (Research, Training and Advice) Act, 1988. Funding for Teagasc's activities is derived from a number of sources and the allocation of that funding is a matter for the Teagasc Authority.
