139 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the cost of the Irish delegation's input to Berlin Green Week, Germany, including travel and accommodation for media personnel and others; and the percentage of this cost that was paid for by his Department. [7904/96]
An Bord Bia has responsibility for organising Ireland's participation in Berlin Green Week. As in recent years, my Department will contribute £121,000 towards the cost of participation in 1996. Any costs over and above this flat rate subvention are a matter for An Bord Bia to decide. The cost of attendance by myself and officials of my Department at the 1996 Berlin Green Week was £4,565.
