Written Answers. - Farm Diversification Report.
I have recently received this report. The essential features listed are already in place, including special advisory service for smallholders which is financed from the Structural Funds; the recently introduced farm improvement programme scheme for horticulture; support for the formation of producer groups which is also financed from the Structural Funds; an active forestry programme; and Teagasc training services.
I am, however, having the views expressed in the report studied in detail.
