Written Answers. - Livestock Offal Disposal.
Temporary assistance in the form of a production and storage subsidy is being provided to the rendering industry in order to enable it to continue functioning normally during the current difficulties. My Department is holding discussions with the various interested parties with a view to facilitating a commercial solution to the collection and disposal of livestock offal. In the context of these discussions all options will be considered.
