41 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs the number and full details of the applications within his Department for job sharing which currently cannot be met due to the embargo on staff recruitment. [7999/96]
There are two applications for job sharing which are currently under consideration in the Department of Foreign Affairs. These applications will be processed in the normal way and are not affected by the embargo on staff recruitment.
No application for job sharing has been made in the office of the Tánaiste.

My Department has advised all Government Departments/Offices that "...the operation of the job sharing scheme should not be affected by the recently announced restrictions on staffing". There are no outstanding applications for job sharing in my Department arising as a direct result of the staffing restrictions.
