19 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the plans, if any, he has for Quin Abbey, County Clare; the progress, if any, that has been made in respect of this matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8987/96]

I refer the Deputy to the reply of 2 May 1996 which he received on this matter in which it was made clear that any future plans for Quin Abbey were contingent on property acquisitions in the vicinity of the abbey.
