Written Answers. - Vehicle Registration Statistics.
The number of new and imported used vehicles registered in 1995 is as follows: new, 107,097; used, 61,878. The total number of vehicles registered in 1995 represents an increase of 5 per cent over 1994. The provisional net vehicle registration tax receipts in 1995 were £288.8 million.
