Ceist:131 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the total cost of ministerial foreign travel in 1995; if he will give a breakdown of this cost; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10300/96]
Written Answers. - Ministerial Travel.
The total cost of the three foreign trips undertaken by me in 1995 was approximately £14,000. the breakdown is as follows:— (i) Toronto, £5,700 approximately; (ii) Strasbourg, £1,100 approximately; (iii) Beijing, £7,200 approximately.
The cost of travel and expenses incurred by my officials on these trips amounted to £37,900.
