179 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Education whether her Department intends to proceed with the construction of a second-level school on a site at Castleview, Tallaght, Dublin 24, following her meeting with members of Castleview Post-Primary Association, in March 1995. [10071/96]
My Department periodically reviews the need for a post-primary school to serve the Kingswood, Castleview and Kilnamanagh areas of Tallaght, Dublin 24, in the context of the availability of school places in adjacent and accessible post-primary schools.
Following my meeting with the Castleview Post-Primary Association, a review was undertaken and is being updated to include the latest information. It should be completed shortly and I will then be in a position to consider the matter further.
