205 Miss Quill asked the Minister for Education if she has examined the application in respect of a school (details supplied) in County Cork for the replacement of windows, urgent repairs to the gymnasium and adjacent classroom block and a further package of outstanding repair work to the physical fabric of the school; if so, when a decision will be forthcoming in respect of this application; and whether funding will be made available in 1996. A report has been received from this school's consultant architect concerning replacement of windows, urgent repairs to the gymnasium and adjacent classroom block and further repair work required at the school. This report has been examined by my Department's technical staff.
Due to financial constaints, it is not possible to approve these works at present. However, I wish to assure the Deputy that this application has been noted and the question of allowing these works to proceed at a future date will be considered in the light of available capital and having regard to my Department's other commitment and priorities.
