Ceist:282 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to approve a milk hygiene grant in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [10115/96]
My Department has sought clearance from the EU Commission for the methodology to grant-aid goat milking facilities under the dairy hygiene scheme. Once this has been received, the application in question will be considered.

Ceist:283 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to have an extensification premium and a second REP scheme payment made to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [10125/96]
The person concerned received his first payment under the REP scheme in November 1995 and is due his second payment under the scheme in October 1996.
Extensification premium amounting to £29.29 per head is payable on suckler cows and male cattle to producers whose stocking density is less than 1.4 LU/HA. Payment will be made automatically to all qualifying producers who submitted a 1995 area aid application. Payments are expected to commence shortly.
