280 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a REP scheme grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [10076/96]

There is no record of any application from the person concerned under the REP scheme.

Joe Walsh

Ceist:

282 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to approve a milk hygiene grant in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [10115/96]

My Department has sought clearance from the EU Commission for the methodology to grant-aid goat milking facilities under the dairy hygiene scheme. Once this has been received, the application in question will be considered.

283 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to have an extensification premium and a second REP scheme payment made to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [10125/96]

The person concerned received his first payment under the REP scheme in November 1995 and is due his second payment under the scheme in October 1996.

Extensification premium amounting to £29.29 per head is payable on suckler cows and male cattle to producers whose stocking density is less than 1.4 LU/HA. Payment will be made automatically to all qualifying producers who submitted a 1995 area aid application. Payments are expected to commence shortly.
