189 Miss Quill asked the Minister for Justice the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork was transferred from Limerick Prison to Mountjoy Prison; the manner in which her sentence is being served; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [11106/96]
It is long-standing practice not to comment in detail on individual prisoners cases in so far as transfers or the management of their sentences generally are concerned except to say that movements of prisoners between institutions take place on a regular basis for various operational reasons. I see no reason for departing from the above practice in this instance.
