98 Miss Flaherty asked the Minister for Education if she will make an emergency allocation of an assistant carer to St. Patrick's national school, Drumcondra, Dublin 9 in view of the fact that there are two wheelchair users attending this school and their parents are finding it very difficult to support them. I am not in a position at present to make child care assistants posts available to primary schools. I will continue to review needs in this area and consider how best these needs can be addressed within available resources. The needs of all schools, including the school referred to by the Deputy, will be considered within this context.
