Ceist:279 Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in having a herd number issued to persons (details supplied) in County Galway; and the date on which it will issue. [11726/96]
Written Answers. - Issue of Herd Number.
Processing of the application for a herd number by the persons named was delayed due to incomplete information on the application form. Following a farm visit by one of my officials the matter has now been resolved and a herd number will issue shortly.
