Written Answers. - Urban District Council Status.
A review of town local government has been carried out by an independent Commission established under Part X of the Local Government Act, 1994. Issues such as town classification are among the matters considered in this context. I am considering the report of the commission and I intend to make it widely available as soon as possible.
