Ceist:139 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to have TB tags issued to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim. [11851/96]
Written Answers. - Issue of TB Tags.
Under the new national bovine identification arrangements plastic tags have been distributed only to herds registered with my Department under the disease eradication schemes. There is no herd so registered in respect of the name and address supplied by the Deputy. I suggest he contacts my Department's District Veterinary Office at Cranmore Road, Sligo (telephone 071-42023). That office has responsibility for registration of herds in Sligo and Leitrim and will be best able to assist him further in this matter.
