165 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Defence if he will give a full report on the disturbing incident that occurred at St. Bricin's Hospital on Tuesday, 28 May 1996; whether personnel and patients were put at risk; and whether the Army was in a position to act on the disturbance. [12116/96]
The incident which occurred at St. Bricin's Hospital on the evening of 28 May 1996 is currently the subject of a Military Police and Garda investigation. However, I can assure the Deputy that at no time was there any risk to the patients in St. Bricin's Hospital and that military security procedures were effective and adequate.
