209 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Education if she will have arrangements made to sanction a second bus for the transportation of children from an area (details supplied) in County Cork to a special class in County Cork. [12528/96]
I have no plans at present to sanction a second bus for the transportation of children from the area in question to a special class in County Cork.
The transport service catering for all the children attending this class was reviewed earlier this year. Following this review, the school transport route was split to give an improved service to the pupils concerned.
If the Deputy wishes to give me details of any individual pupils attending the class in question who are not currently in receipt of a service, I will have the matter investigated.
