222 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for Education if she will make national lottery funding available to Wexford Community Services Council to enable it to extend the centre to cater for the increasing number of elderly people attending; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department has no record of receiving an application for grant assistance from Wexford Community Services Council.
My Department administers two schemes under the sports capital programme but it would appear from the information provided by the Deputy that the project would not qualify for funding under the terms of the schemes.
