233 Mr. Nolan asked the Minister for Education if she will have arrangements made for a change in the school bus service pick-up point for children (details supplied) attending Borris Vocational School, County Carlow who live in an extremely hilly part of the county on the Blackstairs mountain. The children referred to by the Deputy live one mile from the existing pick-up point. This is considered to be a very reasonable level of service in the context of the general operation of the school transport scheme. Therefore, I am not in a position to change the existing arrangements.
