Ceist:95 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the progress, if any, being made with regard to funding for the Balor Theatre, Ballybofey, County Donegal. [12955/96]
Written Answers. - Ballybofey (Donegal) Theatre.
The cultural development incentives scheme, which I am administering under the Operational Programme for Tourism, 1994-99, was advertised in December 1994 with a closing date of 3 February 1995 for the receipt of completed applications. As the application in respect of the Balor Theatre — Arts Centre, Ballybofey, was only submitted to my Department on 25 January 1996, it was ineligible for assessment in the first phase of the scheme.
This application will be considered along with any other applications I receive in the context of a second and final call for applications under the scheme later this year.
