81 Mr. M. Ahern asked the Minister for Justice the number of judicial separation proceedings pending in each Circuit Court area; the number of cases set down for trial in each Circuit Court area; the average waiting period between the time when proceedings for judicial separation are issued and the date of the hearing of the action in each Circuit Court area; the average length of time between the date of setting down for trial of an action for judicial separation and the actual date of trial in each Circuit Court circuit; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The information requested by the Deputy is not readily available at present but is being sought. I will do my utmost to have this information made available to the Deputy within two weeks, but the Deputy should be aware that the compilation of these statistics may take a little longer in some cases.
