161 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the fact that raw sewage from Skibbereen town in County Cork flows directly into the Illen River; if so, the plans, if any, he has to provide a sewage treatment plant for the town; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is currently awaiting a report from the county council on the review of the preliminary report for this proposed scheme which was requested by my Department in the light of the sludge strategy study.
