127 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if he will provide grant aid for the restoration and maintenance of Kenneigh Round Tower, Enniskeane, County Cork, from the EU Operational Programme for Tourism 1994 to 1999 allocation under the National Monuments and Historical Properties Programme. As the funding available for projects of this nature under the EU Operational Programme for Tourism 1994-99 is already fully committed, it will not be possible to fund the restoration of Kenneigh Round Tower under the programme.
