Ceist:143 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for the Environment the provisions, if any, of the Waste Management Act, 1996, that will require secondary legislation by way of orders and regulations. [14007/96]
Written Answers. - Waste Management Act.
Section 15 (6), 18 (3) and 50 (1) of the Waste Management Act, 1996 provide that relevant regulations shall be made by the Minister for the Environment. All other provisions of the Act enabling the making of regulations are of a discretionary nature.
