Written Answers. - Great Famine Commemoration.
The commemoration committee, which I chair, is an interdepartmental committee composed of civil servants from relevant Government Departments which nominate officials to attend the committee meetings from time to time. The secretary of the committee is an official in the Department of the Taoiseach.
The following Departments are represented on the committee: Department of the Environment, Department of Tourism and Trade, Office of Public Works, Department of Education, Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Department of Foreign Affairs, National Museum (on behalf of Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht), Department of Finance and Department of Social Welfare.
