79 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Health the direct funding, if any, that was allocated to the Irish Epilepsy Association (Brainwave) in each of the years from 1994 to 1995 and to date in 1996 by his Department or through the health boards on a regional level. [14037/96]

Limerick East): Funding for voluntary organisations, such as Brainwave — the Irish Epilepsy Association — is usually provided through the health boards. My Department provided a once-off grant of £25,000 in 1994 which was paid to the association through the Eastern Health Board. Details of funding to the association provided by health boards in 1994, 1995 and to date in 1996 is as follows:
