Vol. 468 No. 2

Written Answers. - Departmental Reviews and Studies.

Máirín Quill

Ceist:

100 Miss Quill asked the Minister for the Environment if he will list each review and study commissioned by him since he took office; the title of such a review or study; whether the review or study is being completed within his Department or by external consultants; the names of any such consultants; the current state of preparation of each of these reviews or studies; and the cost of each review or study undertaken. [14811/96]

My Department undertakes a wide range of internal reviews and studies on an ongoing basis, as part of its normal business, and the costs arising are met from within the general provisions for staffing and other administrative costs in the Environment Vote. It is assumed that the question does not relate to such studies.

Details of reviews and studies commissioned from external consultants, or undertaken by my Department in consultation with outside parties, since I took up office are set out in the following table.
