337 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment if he will have arrangements made to have a person (details supplied) in County Cork called for a driving test as soon as possible in view of the fact that he must have a full licence for his new job. [15321/96]

An application for a driving test for this person was received in my Department on 15 July. In the special circumstances, he will be offered a test if and when a cancellation of a test appointment at the centre concerned arises but, in any event, will be tested not later than 26 August.
