Two-and-a-half million pounds has been allocated to the two fisheries measures of the INTERREG Programme, 1994 to 1999. While the agriculture, fisheries and forestry working group has decided to support a major inland fisheries project, I understand that certain financial arrangements associated with the programme are being finalised. I understand also that a number of other applications submitted for funding under the fisheries measures are undergoing evaluation at present.
