22 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Health if he will provide funding for the development of services to persons with a mental and physical handicap in the Western Health Board area; and whether, in particular, funding will be provided for these services in the Ballinasloe/south Roscommon/east Galway region. Limerick East): As the question of the overall allocation to my Department in 1997 is still under consideration, I am not in a position to give any indication, at this time, of the level of funding for mental and physical handicap services next year.
The additional funding provided this year for the development of the mental and physical handicap services in the Galway/Roscommon area is set out in the following table.
