98 Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Education the progress, if any, being made in relation to the extension required for Loreto secondary school, Clonmel, County Tipperary; when this project will proceed to tender stage; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [17035/96]
The planning and building unit of my Department is examining the developed sketch scheme for the proposed extension to the Loreto secondary school, Clonmel, and will be in contact with the school authorities in the near future about further progress.
At this early stage of architectural planning, I am not in a position to indicate when the project will proceed to tender. However, every effort will be made to advance the project through the various stages of planning to enable tenders to be sought as soon as possible.
