The total amount of subsidies and grants paid to Irish farmers during 1995 was of the order of £850 million. This figure is exclusive of expenditure on areas such as market supports, which are not paid directly to farmers.
My Department operates a large number of schemes and the information sought on payments in each county is not readily available and would require an undue effort to extract.
