5 Miss M. Wallace asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs the number of jobs from his Department which were decentralised in each of the past 15 years on a county basis; and the location to which the jobs were transferred on a county basis. [17451/96]

The Passport Office in Cork was opened in 1987 with a compliment of three staff. In 1995 the office was upgraded to a full passport issuing office. The staffing levels were consequentially increased from three to twenty three. The Office of the Tánaiste has no provincial location.
